August 5th

We were thrilled to welcome new 2 week campers today and they’re excited to be here! After icebreakers, lice checks, and tours everyone swam together. In classic Massad tradition we had first night נקניקיות naknikiyot (hotdogs). The torch has been lit, and campers are currently competing in Olympiada, a mock-olympics program full of תחרות tacharut (competition) and רוח ruach (spirit). Competing countries include Argentina, Israel, Scotland, and Finland.

Tomorrow is Yom Yisrael and we can’t wait for the shakshuka, hummus, and non-stop Israeli music!

Stay tuned for more.
