Shalom Koolam!
Yesterday was nice and relaxing – perfect for the day after Festival. The afternoon was punctuated by a game of soccer baseball, which is always a lot of fun for the campers.  The night program was Guys Night / Girls Night. The guys participated in a fantastic Super Bowl program while the girls baked cookies and watched a movie.
Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to our wonderful Bisseleh campers. Massad feels quieter and we were sad to see them go, but we know we will see them back at camp next session or next summer!
Today marked the last day of Shorashim! The campers participated in Shabbat themed activities like decorating picture frames and making Shabbat candles and candleholders. The day was capped off with one last swim in our pool and an extra special surprise – a bouncy castle! Take a look at the Camp Massad Facebook page for lots of great day camp pictures.
Today was another regular day of peulot, while the staff prepared the camp for Shabbat. The theme for this Shabbat at Massad is Kibbutz! Thank you to our Roshei Shabbat; Talya, Dvir, and Gilad for all of your hard work! After Shabbat dinner, campers will head to the Oolam for Shira and Rikud Am!
Mechina checked in and is still having an amazing experience! They are now on a layover at Kakagi, which is a really amazing site!
All of us at Camp Massad wish you a Shabbat Shalom! We will be signing off the blog until Shabbat is over, so check back for another post on Sunday!
Until next time, Heydad!
