Shalom Koolam,
Carnival, tonight’s evening program, was a blast thanks to all of the campers and staff who worked so hard on their booths. Each cabin made a carnival booth for the others to try out; the oolam was transformed with stations such as mini golf, whack-a-mole, and face painting. The campers then used the tickets, which they won at each booth, to bid on counsellor “Leytzanim”.
This afternoon, Ma’alit and Machshira both returned from their overnights. Everyone had an amazing time on their overnights, but it’s really great to have them back! Camp is so much louder with everyone here (I can’t imagine how loud it’ll be once the 2 weekers and Mechina arrive!). Both groups had amazing outdoor adventures consisting of hikes, campfires, and swimming!
Our Mechina have been working extremely hard on their Mechina al ha Mayim canoe trip. We received word this morning that they are safe and having an awesome time!
Tomorrow is festival, which means the counsellors are already busy preparing the parade and the big surprise for all of the campers.
Until next time, Heydad!
