Camp Massad has been offering excellence in Hebrew Immersion Jewish Camping for over 60 years!

Do campers have to speak Hebrew in order to attend Massad?

No. The ability to speak or understand Hebrew is not required. Everything is translated for those who are unfamiliar with the language. Campers will develop and expand on their knowledge of Hebrew.

How long are the camp sessions?

Camp session range from five days to six weeks depending on the age of the camper. See the brochure or registration form for further details.

Are there subsidies available?

Camp Massad supports all campers interested in attending camp regardless of parents’ financial ability. Camp Massad offers several payment options for families so that payments can be made throughout the course of the year; we encourage families to contact the Camp Massad office (204) 477-7487 to discuss. Additionally, limited scholarship dollars are available through the Camp Massad Campership fund. All Manitoba campers are eligible to apply to the Manitoba Camping Association’s Sunshine Fund for funding assistance (based upon family income) (204) 784-1130.

Can special dietary needs and food allergies be accommodated?

Camp Massad does its very best to accommodate campers with special dietary needs or food allergies. Camp Massad is a nut-free facility. Vegetarian options are provided at every meat meal. Camp Massad has provided many gluten free meals. We highly recommend contacting the Camp Massad Director to discuss serious food restrictions and allergies so that appropriate accommodations can be made.
